It's time to focus on creating content on dreamwidth, which seems like a good time to try to give this comm a re-boot.
Since me doing the check-in posts every day doesn't seem to work so well (sorry guys) does anyone want to offer to do check-ins? If we get enough people, we could get each person to claim one day per week.
Comment with what days(s) you would be willing to do, if you want! Alternately, give some suggestions of food-related topics you'd like to talk about here in the next 3 weeks.
ETA: I'm watching the American documentary Forks Over Knives (2011) (ETA2: sorry, I just realized this trailer needs a TW* for fat shaming, health fear-mongering ("diabetus!!"), weight loss before and after photos and also a brief shot of a surgery in progress where you can see blood trailer, imdb page) which, the official summary says, "[e]xamines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods."
Would anyone be interested in reading a review?
*I apologize if anyone clicked the trailer before I put up the warning and was triggered.
